Internet Scanner provides automated, network-based
security assessment and policy compliance evaluation. It can be used for all types of
TCP/IP network, both internal and external, and can detect
vulnerabilities in wide range of host types.
An integrated part of the Proventia security management
platform, Internet Scanner performs scheduled or event-driven
probes of key network components.
These include communications devices,
operating systems, routers, mail and web servers,
firewalls, and applications, thereby identifying
weaknesses which could result in unauthorised network
access.
Internet Scanner generates reports ranging from
executive-level trend analysis to detailed step-by-step
instructions for eliminating security risks, including
