A mobile phone company had us carry out a full review
of network security, including firewalls, modems found by
phone number scans, the internal network and PBXs. This covered all
the company's UK sites and many thousands of user desktop systems.
We have a long-term contract with another mobile operator to provide
a managed service for the maintenance of
its intrusion detection systems. These cover networks across
the company and protect customer-facing services as well as the
enterprise itself: the technology supported contains both ISS
RealSecure and Proventia and Enterasys
Dragon products.
IDsec supplied a complete event management system for one of the UK's
largest electricity producers. This was based on Network Intelligence
enVision appliances and allows the client's security team to integrate,
analyse and archive alerts from a wide range of hosts, devices and
applications - providing compliance at the sharp end. We have been
involved with the project from initial product evaluation through
installation, training and support.
We have supplied ISS products to one of
the largest building societies, training staff and helping
with deployment and configuration.
A leading international telecommunications
operator used IDsec to test its hosted firewall service as part of
the assurance provided to its own clients.
We tested the security of head-office and branch Internet gateways
across the world for a leading merchant bank.
An EC government finance ministry had
us provide risk assessment for an e-commerce gateway.
